I am really proud  to represent Cancer Care West in the Galway Bay Half Marathon which takes place on the 5th October. People in communities are affected by cancer every day, directly or indirectly through a loved one. Our family introduction and very first experience with Cancer was when my Dad(Tom) was diagnosed in November 2017. A fit, active and healthy man presented with a new and life changing journey. With the great and relentless support of family, friends and Cancer Care West Dad continues with great humor and overwhelming courage on his cancer journey.
