Fee Relief - Lismore Music Students
Donation protected
The Northern Rivers Conservatorium is located in the heart of the Lismore CBD and in the recent devastating flood, waters surged right through the ground floor of its heritage building reaching over five feet in height at the front and close to seven feet at the rear.
The impact to the wider Lismore community is severe with many businesses, individuals and families losing everything.
We teach more than 650 students every week ranging in age from toddlers to those in their 70s. A large number of our students are currently working with our teachers in preparation for NSW HSC music exams.
The reality is that many of our families will be experiencing extreme financial pressure for months to come and we want to do all we can to support our Conservatorium community to maintain their music education and engagement with the Conservatorium during this time.
Your contribution to our Flood Fee Relief fund will go directly to support students to maintain their music education as the Lismore community recovers from this disastrous flood event.
While we were able to lift all our valuable equipment out of reach of the flood waters, the ground floor will require a complete refurbishment of the electrics, floor coverings and many internal and external doors.
Any additional funds raised will go towards the cost of repair and refurbishment of the building’s ground floor.
We appreciate any support you are able to give to our Flood Fee Relief campaign. Donations are tax deductible.
