Downhill mountain bike racers need nerves of steel, quick reflexes and intense concentration. They also need money.


13 year old Piper Allman of Sooke, BC is in her third race season, and is poised to take the BC Cup in the under 15 Women’s category. This season, Piper has taken first in all her downhill races, and is already the Vancouver Island Downhill Cup Women’s Expert Champion.


This year, Piper has joined Kovarik Racing’s Rider Development Team, and will have top of the line equipment and coaching. Piper herself has plenty of talent and tremendous motivation to live her dream.

The summer racing season features events each weekend at Whistler, Fernie, Vernon, Kamloops, Golden, and Panorama. Piper will also race and attend the annual Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival.
