Hello,
My name is Alondra Contreras and I am raising money for my family. My dad contracted H1N1, also known as the "Swine Flu", and it destroyed his lungs and debilitated his entire body. As a result, of H1N1, he developed ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) which prevents enough oxygen from getting to the lungs and into the blood. He has been in the hospital fighting for his life since March 28 and we are told that his recovery time will take time.
The money that we are trying to raise as soon as possible will be going towards family and hospital expenses. My older sister, has had to take leave from work to be with our dad so she will be using the money for the minimum daily expenses. But more importantly we will be using the money for hospital bills that we are anticipating will be a large amount.
This fund means so much to me because it will provide my family some relief as we endure these very difficult times. Our prayer is that our father will recover quickly by the grace and power of God!
My family and I will be forever thankful for your donation to our fund. We believe that whatever donation we get will result in a great blessing to you and all your loved ones. For God sees all things.
I wanted to write more, but it hurts my heart to even type this. I pray that God grants us peace and strength as we continue to go through this. I pray that our God shows mercy, compassion and HEALING towards my dad. Amen.
