PLEASE HELP US SUPPORT OUR INCREDIBLE FRIEND, JENI!!!
At the age of 31, our friend, Jeni (Johnson) Cornelius, was diagnosed with stage-3 breast cancer. Jeni bravely fought and WON that battle.
Three years later, Jeni started to not feel well. She thought she had a summer cold, but couldn’t shake it. Jeni ended up in the hospital, where the doctors ran tests and discovered that the cancer was back. But this time it was stage-4 and had spread to her lymph nodes, her lungs, and her femur. Jeni immediately began aggressive chemo. She later added radiation to her arsenal against this horrible disease when it was discovered that it had spread to her brain.
Jeni continues her fight to this day. Thankfully, the all-brain radiation has done it’s job. The spots on her brain are all either gone, or so significantly small, her doctors aren’t too concerned about them. Also, the spot on her lung is smaller. Her chemo and radiation cocktail is working!
Remarkably, Jeni has not let this diagnosis get the best of her. As a devoted wife of 15 years to her 8th grade sweetheart, loving mother to an 8 year old boy, dedicated 4th grade teacher at Point Defiance Elementary, and amazing daughter and friend, her beauty shines brighter than ever. Jeni’s positive attitude, sense of humor, and pure strength are inspiring to all who know her.
Now it’s our time to show our love and support to Jeni, her husband, Noah, and their handsome son, Noah Jr.
