Mud Bugs - a short film

My name is Whitney Butler and I'm a digital filmmaking student at the University of Central Arkansas. I've had several of my films screen at different festivals across the country, including the Los Angeles Film and Script Festival and the JIS Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia.
About the Film
I began writing the script for 'Mud Bugs' in August and started pre-production this semester. We're shooting March 20-21, 2016. I love how it's developed and I can't wait to see the final result! I'm going to be submitting it to various film festivals across the country.
This is where I need your help! My estimated budgeting for the film is $700. That will cover cost of equipment, such as a drone to help with some forest shots, professional cast and crew, food for cast and crew, and more necessities for the production.
Plot Summary
Mud Bugs is a "date gone wrong" film, where a young materialistic girl, Allison, is thrown into a world that she's completely unfamiliar with-- the outdoors. Blake, a down to Earth guy decides to show Allison a part of his lifestyle by taking Allison mudding in the forest. While Blake is trying to introduce this foreign environment to Allison, he discovers a new and hidden side to her that he wasn't aware of.
Inspiration
My roommate went on a date similar to this that was the beginning inspiration for this film. As I began developing the script, I decided to incorporate aspects from my own life to make it more true to myself. My dad works for Ducks Unlimited, and growing up I'd spend weekends at conventions, banquets, and even a week long duck camp in the middle of nowhere. I'm the farthest thing from being country and always have been, so I go from a sorority girl to being thrown in to a completely different atmosphere. This film has a little bit of me and the people I love in it, so that's why it's become so special to me.
I want this production to be the best it can be, so thank you so much for your support and contribution.
