My Mother's Day Request

That old saying of it takes a village--I am counting on that now. As a Mom, all I want to do is take care of my son, but sometimes an obstacles appears:  someone challenging the safety of my doing so.

Now I have to use the court system to prove that as my son's Mom I really do know what is best. The trouble is the court system is not at all free and since this battle goes across state lines and includes special needs the options for appropriate legal help are specialized.

So, I turn to my village. The people I know understand that all I want to do is be a Mom and put the legal battle to rest once and for all. In order to do that I need to raise the funds for a retainer for a lawyer.

My goal is $20,000. That will give me the retainer and the first portion of whatever comes next.
