Sophia's Fight To Survive

I sit here with tears in my eyes. Here's Sophia's story...
Sophia was found as a stray on the Las Vegas streets. A good Samaritan brought her to an animal hospital to see if she was microchipped. She was and her family was found. The animal hospital thought her family would be excited to get her but they weren't. They even came right before closing to pick her up. Two weeks go by and her family walked her into that same animal hospital and said that they wanted her euthanize because they cannot afford her food. The vet tech that works at that hospital could not see that happen. She took her home and tried to find her a home. She couldn't find anyone that wanted Sophia so she contacted A Home 4 Spot Animal Rescue and that's where she started her journey with me. The moment I met Sophia, I fell in love. We had a good first night at my house but then she started to show signs of sickness. She started to slowly lose weight but then the weight loss increased within the past few days. Right now Sophia is fighting for her life at the Veterinary Emergency + Critical Care Hospital. She just had a blood transfusion and has to stay the night because she hasn't bounced back yet. We are doing everything we can to keep her comfortable but we need help with her vet bills. Her vet bill so far is $1000 and that is without the ultrasound that is needed plus all the expensive medication she will be on. If you can help in any way, Sophia and I will really appreciate it. She deserves a fighting chance.
