Caswell's Emergency Surgery Fund

This past Friday, this prince ^ started acting funny. He kept lifting his leg to pee but nothing was coming out. He struggled to walk up the stairs after his morning walk, when usually he sprints, and he refused his food and water.

24 hours later, Caswell still wasn't himself. He still couldn't pee or poo, although he tried, and we were concerned that he might be having mild seizures. Weirdest of all, he didn't want to be touched, and when we rushed him to the emergency room, he didn't care to look out the window in the car.

This morning we got the bad news that Caswell has something lodged in his urethra, something that is preventing him from relieving himself on his own. This is life-threatening. Doctors' attemps at dislodging whatever-it-is with a catheter have been unsuccessful, and his bladder, left kidney, and stomach are all swollen. Now, in addition, his colon is obstructed.

Caswell needs emergency surgeries (3) to save his life. He needs a Urethrogram, a Cystotomy, and a Urethrostomy, in addition to other tests, antibiotics, X-rays, Ultrasounds, and other emergency services. Costs have already reached $7,000, and that number may continue to rise, depending on Caswell's health.

As some of you may know, I've kind of been going through a spiral of bad luck, working odd job to odd job just to get by. I hate asking for your help, but this is my last resort and Caswell is my son. I can't live without him. If you can't help at this time, please consider sharing this page.
