Charvas Singleton, a "Brother of Blue", a former Police officer for the Morton Borough Police Department, has always been a hard working young man. He Graduated Cheyney University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Broadcasting. He loves traveling, spending time with his God daughter, and family. He prides himself in dedication and commitment.
On Saturday afternoon, June 15, 2019 Charvas known as Manny, was a gunshot victim of an attempted robbery in the City of Chester, PA. Charvas remains in the Trauma ICU with life threatening injuries. Manny has had two surgeries lasting 6 hours and the other 4 hours. The surgeon removed 3 bullets which caused extreme blood lost and traumatic life altering injuries to many body systems.
With his round the clock nursing needs and treatment he is progressing but still has a long journey to recovery. He will need physical therapy, transportation to and from his appointments, follow up care, and possibly counseling in processing this traumatic event and many other complications or challenges that may arise. Manny has stated concerns and expressed frustration to his nursing team and family about not being able to quickly return to work, and keeping his commitment to his financial responsibilities.
With your help and or support Manny can focus on healing, knowing he has a loving community rooting for a successful recovery. NO donation is too small. If you are unable to give monetary support a simple forward of this page is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much.
