Everest Base Camp 2019

In November 2019 I will be trekking to Everest Base Camp with Tony Gray, my friend from Durham University fifty years ago and long-time trekking mate. We have signed up with KE Adventure for their Ultimate Everest Trek and should be at Base Camp on Friday 8th November.
This is a personal challenge but I am taking the opportunity to raise money for three good causes; two hands-on Shrewsbury charities and one helping local people in Nepal:
Shrewsbury Food Hub collects surplus food from retailers and
distributes it to needy organisations. I am one of their volunteers.
Shrewsbury Street Pastors are out on Saturday nights helping
young party-goers who get into difficulty and supporting the
emergency services. My wife, Gill, is a volunteer.
The Nepalese charity is run be Tshering Lama, an amazing man
who Gill and I helped through HE twenty years ago. It promotes and supports better community health in remote areas.
Please help me to turn my own special challenge into something which benefits communities both at home and in Nepal.
