<div>Help Alanna Save Her Vision After a Sudden Retinal Detachment
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On Saturday 5/16 at the Kinetic Fire Festival, Alanna experienced a sudden retinal detachment — a medical emergency that can cause permanent blindness in a matter of hours. She needed emergency surgery to save her eye and preserve her vision. Without it, she would have lost sight in that eye permanently.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The timing makes this even harder to swallow. Alanna was at Kinetic doing what she always does: pouring herself into the flow community she loves. The people, the creativity, the shared artistry — it’s one of the places where she feels most alive, and she gives so much of herself to it. Her friends had flown in to join her, and when her vision suddenly became blurry and eve a little dark, she didn’t center on herself. She centered on them. She pushed back her own medical care to make sure they could get home safely and make their flights. That’s who she is. Even in crisis, she shows up for the people she loves.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now she needs a little support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Health insurance is complicated, and emergency retinal surgery is brutally expensive. She is already applying for emergency Medicaid, charity care, and every financial‑assistance program available, but even with all of that, the remaining cost will be far more than she should have to shoulder alone — especially after doing everything right and everything selfless.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support will go directly toward:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- The emergency retinal reattachment surgery
</div>
<div>- Post‑operative medications and follow‑up appointments
</div>
<div>- Transportation and recovery costs
</div>
<div>- Any remaining hospital balance after financial‑assistance programs
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Alanna is one of the most generous, community‑minded people you’ll ever meet. She pours love into the flow community, into her friendships, into every space she touches. She is the person who quietly holds things together, who makes sure others are safe, who gives without keeping score.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now she needs her community to pour some of that love back into her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution helps — whether it’s $5 or simply sharing this page.
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping Alanna protect her vision and recover.

<div>Help Support Patsy Haney During Her Recovery
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, Patsy Haney, the proud owner of The Big Dog in Ravenna, Ohio.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Patsy has lived in Ravenna her entire life and has owned The Big Dog for nearly 20 years. Over the years, she’s become a true fixture in our community—not just as a business owner, but as someone with a huge heart who’s always the first to lend a hand. She’s organized and hosted countless fundraisers for people, families, and even animals in need. Now, she’s the one who could use a little help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, doctors found a tumor in her brain that is unfortunately growing in size. Due to the location and how quickly it's developing, they’ve recommended urgent brain surgery which will happen in the next few weeks. While the doctors are optimistic and we’re hopeful for a full recovery, the road ahead won’t be easy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Patsy will need time to heal—likely 6 to 8 weeks—which means The Big Dog will have to close temporarily or operate on very limited hours during her recovery. As many of you know, the bar is her livelihood, and closing it even temporarily is a big financial burden, especially on top of rising medical bills.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many people have already reached out, asking how they can support Patsy during this difficult time. So we decided to start this GoFundMe to help cover her medical expenses and provide a cushion to get her through recovery while the bar is closed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve ever had a drink, a laugh, or shared a story with Patsy at The Big Dog, you know just how much she cares. She doesn’t know we’re setting this up—but we believe it’s time we show her the same love and support she’s shown so many others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every little bit helps—whether it’s a donation, a share, or just keeping her in your thoughts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>***Please remember: She does not know I set this up - and is not one to ask for help - and will definitely "yell" at me when she is told about it , but I am hoping to show her how much everyone cares and the positivity thru this and to <strong>surprise </strong>her with all the love and support from the community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
