Everyone who knows Tyler Gayford knows that he's a fighter with a massive heart for God and family. Whether you've encountered Tyler at church or at the rink, or on the golf course, you know that this man is full of joy and light and will never back down from a challenge.
Tyler is now in the fight of his life. He recently learned that a tumour, about the size of a grapefruit has formed under his ribs. A recent biopsy confirmed that it is cancerous (lymphoma) and because of its position around the aorta, it is inoperable. The cancer has spread throughout his lymph system and now 2 more growths have shown up. A further PETscan confirmed that the cancer is stage 3. This week Tyler starts his first round of chemotherapy.
Because the cancer is an aggressive variety; doctors are recommending 6 rounds of chemo over the next four and a half months. This family needs our help.
To aid Tyler's recovery and boost his immune system the family would like to support his body with some natural therapies. These therapies can be very costly.
Tyler will need time to rest, recover and regain his health. The financial burden should be the least of his worries.
An entire community of family and friends is praying for a full recovery, comfort, and peace. God is all powerful in keeping His promises. The doctors have said this cancer is treatable. Now we can do our part in supporting this family through this journey.
