Tyler TD Davis medical expense fund

$18,228 of $50,000 goal

Raised by 227 people in 1 month
Tyler was involved in a freak accident while training in the gym on February 16, 2019.  He very recently relocated to Columbia, MO and has not been employed long enough to have medical benefits.  He had to have extensive testing and will need reconstructive surgery.  He has suffered an orbital fracture (left eye), nasal fracture, and several other facial fractures.  He will be undergoing surgery in a couple of days and be off work for recovery for awhile.  I am asking for help to keep Tyler lifted during this time of transition.  These funds will be used to pay his ER medical bills (to include radiology, specialty consults, x-rays, etc..), his surgical bills, professional medical bills, any therapy he may need, prescriptions, and other expenses involved in his healing process.  He will also not be able to work for a period of time and these resources will help keep him afloat with his daily expenses.  #prayersUP  #callingonthevillage  #eachonehelpone

Two weeks post-op.. Tyler can wear his glasses now but it will be awhile before he can wear contacts again. The left side of the face is still numb due to extensive nerve damage that will take months to rejuvenate (no one knows to what degree... BUT GOD!) It is still difficult to chew solid foods. Getting used to the plate in his face has been challenging. The healing process is slow but we TRUST GOD and therefore TRUST THE PROCESS! The next step will be determining the next course of his life. PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY HIS STRENGTH as GOD prepares him for his next chapter! We KNOW that his contribution to life and to others will be significant! Thanks EVERYONE for your support! #ONELOVE

UPDATE: one week post op: the swelling has gone down considerably... his eyes are still bloodshot from the bruising. Left side of face still numb due to extensive nerve damage... may take up to a year to recover feeling in the cheek, lip, and teeth area! Hurts to smile, yawn or sneeze... BUT he CAN upgrade past the soft food diet! Teeth still aren’t 100% aligned properly but opted against having mouth wired shut for next four weeks! Can wear glasses now! Can’t wear contacts yet though. SLOWLY BUT SURELY recovery in process! All in all, great 1st post op visit!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE THIS LINK... medical expenses are mounting and bills still due... ALL HELP IS GRATEFULLY APPRECIATED!! #ONELOVE
