Tyler! Care and Recovery Post Motorcycle Accident

Tyler was an active and energetic almost 28 year old. That is until July 27, 2019. It was just after sunset that night that the driver of a car was not actively aware of traffic and did not see Tyler as he rode his motorcycle home from work. As he was riding down an east Texas highway to visit friends, the driver turned left directly into him. Tyler is facing many obstacles to recovery from this motorcycle accident caused by this other driver. He has been in ICU at the U-T Tyler Health Center in Tyler, Texas after arriving via "life-flight" helicopter since the night of the accident. His body sustained numerous broken bones, lung, and liver damage, and three surgeries already have been performed. The insurance coverages that Tyler will receive will not fully nor completely cover what is expected to be massive medical costs. In addition to the on-going costs associated with his current medical recovery, he will need care for the foreseeable future following his return home, which we're hoping will be sometime in September. His care includes home health care until he is fully "weight bearing" sometime this fall, then in-patient rehabilitative care. Once out of in-patient rehabilitative care, he faces months of out-patient rehabilitation and additional physical therapy. Those costs include loss of wages, his on-going personal bills, home health care and on-going medical expenses once he comes home. As they say, "every little bit helps". Organizer and beneficiary
