Two New Classrooms for Larem CDC

Together with a group of friends in Uganda, Austria and USA, we started a Community Based Organization called Larem Foundation to help parents on the benefits of Early Child Education in the Northern part of Uganda, Nwoya District - Anaka. As a co-founder of Larem Foundation, I work closely with over 7 people to help out carry different duties to help the children in Anaka.

Many children were unable to go to pre-school from the villages and some who could, had to walk over 5 km to study. So most parents did not take their children to school and children end up dong farm work and tending to animals instead.

Last year we constructed a classroom block with an office and library with help from fundraisers by friends and family.  Early this year we constructed a three stance latrine with help from an agency in Austria and started building a playground too.

Now we are are happy that more children come to the school and are learning so we need help to raise funds to construct two extra classes and finish playground to accommodate more children and cater for all the stages of pre-school, that is K1,K2, and K3. 

We need the funds soon to enable us start school in February 2019 with 2 extra classes and a play ground for the kids, there will be great progress towards the campaign for Earl Childhood Education.
