Mission Statement
Twisted Teddys is dedicated to helping fund positive social change by finding creative, fun ways to utilize teddy bears to entertain and help others. A large part of our purpose is to help fund social programs that are important and which help to create positive change in communities. We are dedicated to becoming a premier provider of high-quality, socially relevant products to young/middle-aged adults and charitable organizations.

I am an artist with an M.F.A. that combines both digital and painted imagery to create, among other things, socially relevant art using an iconic symbol of childhood innocence, the teddy bear, to address social issues. The money from this campaign will be used to get prototypes made (plush and vinyl), begin the manufacturing/marketing process, allow me to continue to create more images and help me purchase a large format printer which I will use to create limited edition art prints. These are important tools I use in my creative process. Part of my goal is to use part of the proceeds from the sales I generate to helpbenefit the agencies that address the social issues my teddy bears depict. Attending a couple of Entrepreneurial meetings, graduated from the HOPE Small Business/Entrepreneurial Workshop last year and have really been promoting my Twisted Teddys and utilizing the tools I learned. I have a new t-shirt line and am having 2 plush prototypes in the process of being completed, working on getting 3-D CGI files of some of my teddy characters done and possibly signing up with Green2Gold, a non-profit that helps to support small business entrepreneurs.

Attended the LIMA Expo in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago to get more information on Licensing my teddys and to promote my teddys. Great experience. Working on having plush and vinyl prototypes made presently but it's expensive. Just keep pushing forward with my attempt to address social issues. Having someone create 3-D CG versions at present.

Gangsta Teddy was selected for inclusion in an exhibition put on by the California Art League in Feb. - March of 2016.

In addition, I'll soon be getting 3-D computer generated models of some of my teddy characters so that they can be turned into 3-D objects by a 3-D printer. I'm also working on creating a Twisted Teddy backpack for the millennial generation.
