Hello beautiful people!
My name is Matt. This GoFundMe page is dedicated to helping me obtain enough funding to move from North Carolina to Denver, Colorado.
There are many reasons for this move. I have been struggling with Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder since early childhood. As an adult, I have many emotional scars that I have to manage on a daily basis to ensure that I do not trigger any trauma-reactions.
Lately I’ve been realizing that my living situation is not the best for me. My desire to recover and heal from my childhood is being hindered. I feel the best remedy for this situation is for me to move away from this environment and into one that is better suited for my needs.
Once in Colorado, I believe that many opportunities will present themselves. Not being triggered on a daily basis due to my living situation will help immensely with personal growth and moving forward with my life. Not only this, but Colorado has many more modalities towards healing Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder than my State currently holds. Moving to Colorado will present me with many more opportunities towards healing and recovery.
Thank you for considering supporting me on my journey to move to Colorado. My fundraising goal is currently set to $5,000 by March 2020. While I have some funds saved up, I feel I need more financial aid to manage the first few months in Colorado as I become settled. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
