Ethiopia Trip

Hey guys, so I just wanted to get on here and say that I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be going on a mission trip to Addis, Ethiopia with Ordinary Hero in July! I have felt called to be on the mission field since I was 15 years old! Many of you guys know Ashli York, now Richardson. I remember babysitting one night for an event that she was at to raise support and I was amazed at her hearing story and all that she was doing! At that moment I knew that this was it, this was my calling! I have pushed back on the idea due to fear and feeling like I wasn’t good enough and not knowing if I actually heard God say, “yes this is what you are meant to do!” But I’ve been praying about it and I kept telling myself if this is meant to be I will still have this passion and burning deep down in my soul! Well 10 years later my heart still longs to go be the hands and feet of Jesus in Africa! I have recently moved to Tennessee and of course I live in the same city as Kelly Putty, the founder of Ordinary Hero. Wow God works in amazing ways! I have prayed and I feel like I finally need to stop with the excuses and take the leap of faith! My heart has always had a deep desire to love and care for orphans ever since I was a child! I was adopted as a child and I saw my life change through adoption and people just loving me and taking the step that God called them to! I will forever be grateful! During this trip we will be feeding the hungry, serving in orphanages. I am writing this to share with you guys these life changing experiences but also asking if you guys would consider supporting me on this trip!
