Tundras Emergency Surgery

Donation protected
We almost lost our little one last night.

This all started back in August when she became very sick and after 5 different veterinarian opinions we had no answers and none of their diagnosis matched up. She began to feel a little better as weeks passed but never got back to her normal feisty/wild husky self. Over the past few days she became very lethargic and seemed to be in a lot of pain so we were elated when our amazing Vet Denisa Court was able to squeeze her in at 4 pm on Wednesday. After spending 3 hours running tests she came to the conclusion that Tundra was suffering from septic peritonitis and had to be rushed to the emergency clinic in Wheat Ridge. This was life or death situation and with only a 30% chance of survival with surgery we knew we had to at least try. So much was unknown but the surgery went well and ended up being the best case scenario and she now has a 90% chance at surviving. She will be in ICU and monitored very closely for the next few days.

The downside now is that we are left with a vet bill of around $12,000 so we are asking for help of any kind. I understand it’s so close to the holidays and do not expect anything! However, I have to ask. We appreciate all forms of giving whether it be money, sending love, prayers or sharing this page and spreading the word.

For those of you who know us, you know that our girls (Tundra and Luna) are our entire world and we would do anything to keep them happy and safe and healthy! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

With love and gratitude,
Tanya & Nate & Luna & Tundra
