Tulsi's Birthday Fund

Tulsi is turning 7 this summer! (July 13th) In honor of this transition into a new developmental phase of her life, I am creating a right of passage ceremony for her.

Those of you who know Tulsi are aware that she is a very crafty little girl. (and capable too) I want to gift her with a nice sewing machine for her very own. 

For everyone that feels called to participate, I will give you a quilt square that you can decorate for her. Infuse whatever prayers or blessings that you want for her, embroider some words that come to mind when you think of her, or whatever you feel inspired to do! (I have some other ideas, so contact me for suggestions)

At her birthday ceremony, I will present her with this sewing machine and either you (if you are present) or I will present her with the quilt squares. It will be her responsibility to piece together and sew a quilt for herself (with the help of Grandma Jane)

If you can contribute financially to this physical gift for her- wonderful! If you feel called to create a quilt square for her- great! If you want to do both, that is welcome too!
