Tucker Has a Hernia

Tucker is a six year old shih-tzu who has a big hernia on his left back side. Because of this hernia, Tucker is unable to pass the fecal matter through his body, so he ends up being physically sick. He has torn his rectum and often has restless nights.
My mom is disabled, and I work minimum hours at a minimum wage job. We frequently get help from our local food bank and church parish. However, due to our circumstances, we are unable to really save for the surgery that Tucker needs.
Our only other option would be to have this lovable pooch put down -- and he has too much life for that.
