To The Nations With Grace: Uganda!

Hello Family & Friends!

I can't believe that one year ago at this exact time I was heading home from India after spending over three and a half weeks sharing the Gospel through photography with an incredible ministry in Global Encounters. From this experience, To The Nations With Grace was birthed with the aim to docomuent God's Commission work across the world.

This week, I've been afforded another opportunity to go to the nations and use the gift of photography to serve and document His work through Show Mercy International ! I will be departing Oct. 29th, 2017 and returning to the U.S. November 9th.

SMI is a organization made up of ordinary people who are passionate about living life on purpose. They have heard the cry of injustice and are determined to make a difference. SMI demonstrates the love of God in practical ways such as providing homes for orphaned and abandoned children, food, education, clothing, clean water, training, and medical care to the hurting people in Uganda. It aims to encourage each child and family to believe they are created for a special purpose in this life. While the actions of the ministry include providing for the many physical needs, the ultimate goal is to point them to a personal relationship with Jesus who is their ultimate, most consistent and best source of provision.

Show Mercy International’s mission is to MOBILIZE, INSPIRE and EMPOWER individuals all over the world to live life on purpose while reaching out in love. You can read all about SMI by visiting their website here: http://showmercy.org/.

I am grateful to God to have such an opportunity in this to travel to the nations for His glory in the work of His Great Commission. I will be staying in a rural predominately Muslim village. In addition to photography, some of my outreaches may include working in the village schools, hospital ministry, prison ministry, outreaches with SMI's sponsorship children, street evangelism, etc.

It is my prayer that like my time in India, there will be a fruitful harvest of lost sheep placing their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, through the work of the Holy Spirit and the obedience of SMI, in being His tangible hands and feet and mouthpieces of Truth in a region that so desperately needs Him.


I need you my dear family and friends! Your prayers regarding this trip and the provision needed will enable US (you, and I, and the SMI team) to take the Gospel to the unengaged.

Please be praying toward this end:
1. For the Holy Spirit to be softening the hearts and minds of those we will encounter.
2. For the Lord to prepare our hearts and mind to grow more dependent on Him as He sends us out in His name. That He would deepen our burden for His lost and love everyone that we will encounter as image bearers regardless of their differing religious beliefs and culture.
3. For our team Visas to be approved and all of the trip's logistics.
4. For all of the necessary resources to be raised.
5. How God would call you to participate through prayer and/or financial support.

Roundtrip Flight From LAX to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda: $931
Yellow Fever & Typhoid Vaccinations, Malaria Medication: $378
