TSA State Competition Fund

The Technology Student Association at Waynesboro High School competed at the Regional TSA Conference on Saturday, February 4th at the Cumberland Valley Campus. The team did an excellent job and 9 of them have qualified to compete at the State Level.
The club members placed as follows when competing against 11 other high schools:
Kylene Chase, Coryn Hauk, Paige Orner, and Jessica Ryntz placed 3rd place for developing a Children's story in pop up format.
Paige Orner placed 4th place for Essays on Technology.
Levi Moats placed 4th place for Extemporaneous Speech.
Kylene Chase, Jessica Ryntz, and Paige Orner placed 4th place for Music Production.
Levi Moats placed 2nd in Flight Endurance.
Paige Orner placed 1st place for designing and creating a computer illustrated Safety Illustration with the theme of "Safety First When Using Technology".
Nathan Cordell, Seth Egolf, and Joshua McCleaf qualify to compete at the state level for the Webmaster event.
In preparing for the State TSA competition in April, the TSA club would like to thank their teachers, school administration, parents, and community who have supported them in reforming as a club and preparing them for the regional competition. They will face challenges as they compete against the top performers in the state of Pennsylvania. Unfortunately one of those challenges will be raising the near $3000 dollars it will cost in entrance fees, food, and accommodations over the 4 day event.
