On the evening of January 31st, Trudy Lazorick, 42, wife of Greg Lazorick, and a mother of four children and two step children, suffered from a severe asthma attack and due to cardiac arrest, she passed away for 30 minutes after the wait for the ambulance and attempts to resuscitate her. After a trip to one hospital and heart failure for another 7 minutes, she was airlifted to a second, better equipped intensive care unit..
All of that time blood was not circulating oxygen to the brain. She became severely brain damaged. After two days of stability in terms of the heart, she slowly ceased to respond to touch and pain.
On February 4th, when all of her reflexes disappeared, they did an array of tests and a brain scan with nuclear medicine to map out and see if there was any function. Nothing showed.
At 6:45 PM, Trudy Lazorick our mother passed away in terms of the brain, and has left us with a life of grief.
We have set up this “gofundme” to help pay for the expenses of travel, days without work, food, and most importantly funeral arrangements..
