Tropical Storm Narda
Donation protected
As you may be aware, earlier this week, the Pacific coast of Mexico was hit extremely badly by Tropical Storm Narda.
As a 19 year old I spent an incredible 4 months living in a village called El Refugio in an area called El Cabo Corrientes, a remote, coastal area made up of small, rural, communities, just south of Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco. This entire area has been badly affected by this storm. I sent a message to the family I lived with and received a heartbreaking reply - the whole community has been badly damaged and a lot of homes were destroyed. The road out of the town is impassable and they are running out of food and medical supplies.
It just so happens that this weekend I am running a 10K race in Richmond Park so I thought it would be a wasted opportunity if I didn't use this as an excuse to try and raise some much needed funds for this cause.
I would be really grateful if you could donate what you can to help support this community that are in desperate need.
