Trooper's lifesaving surgery
Tax deductible
Precious little Trooper has had to go through a lot in his short life already and is truly living up to his name. He was hit by a car and had his pelvis broken . Then, he had to have a surgery to clean him out since he was unable to pass the stool through his narrowed pelvis, despite being on heavy laxatives. Twenty-five days later another surgery was necessary to clean him out and remove scar tissue, hoping this would resolve Troopers problem. Unfortunately, his stool backed up again, and he was referred to the Animal Surgical Center of Michigan in Flint where a plate to straighten and expand his pelvis was put in. Trooper will need follow up visits, and these medical costs have drained the budget of our small animal rescue. There will be people who say that no cat is worth putting this much money into, but we do believe in giving every animal in our care any chance at a good life as long as they are not suffering. Please support us so we can continue our mission.
