I am a 60 year old Disabled Veteran who lives by myself and all my babies. I became disabled because of a car accident and then because of Doctors screw up.
The funds that I need help with will be used to purchase a power scooter so that I may become a little more independent. Being in a manual wheelchair I am limited as to how far I can go. I can not even go to check my mail down the driveway. It takes me 10 mins to get down my driveway as long as I don't hit a rock and fall out of my chair, but then it takes me 56 mins to get back up the driveway. The scooter that I would love to get will also give me the freedom to get to the gym to work out, and to get to the store when I need to. Without depending on any one else.
The sooner I can get the funds, the sooner I could get the scooter.
This would mean the world to me.
