Peterborough Challenger Baseball League has been invited to participate in the 2019 Little League Challenger Division Exhibition Game at the Little League Baseball World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. We will be participating along with a team from Massachusetts District 12 Little League and will represent nearly 1,000 Challenger programs around the world.
This year's game will be played on Saturday, August 24 at 10:30 AM
We are raising money to help cover travel costs for players, parents and coaches .
Here what challengers baseball is all about:
Peterborough Challenger Baseball is a league of its own .. providing children, teens and adults with intellectual and physical challenges the opportunity to play baseball in a league of their own, on a team, and wearing uniforms.
Our League is part of a National and International Organization featuring programs and teams across Canada and the USA playing under the Challenger Baseball banner.
With the support of the Jays Care Foundation,
Challenger Baseball is an adaptive baseball program designed to empower children , youth and adults, living with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. The program teaches children and youth the core life skills inherent to baseball, including: teamwork, communication, determination, resiliency, inclusion, support and courage.
