Trip to D.C. for Angels in Adoption

For 25+ years my parents have run Open Gate Ranch Youth Home, a foster group home for teenage boys. Over the years they have taken over 100 children from foster care in the state of Montana into their home and have given them for a stable, loving and safe environment. During that time they have also adopted five young men who have not only made their family larger but have expanded the love that they are able to give. I myself was one of those boys that was blessed with a forever home and I will be forever grateful. My life has changed in so many incalculable ways because of the selfless love they have given for years. They are grateful that they have been able to provide that for all of us and they have blessed our lives beyond measure. This year they have been honored by our Montana senator, Senator Daines, to be named Angels in Adoption. This is the greatest honor for them and they absolutely are the most deserving people. They do not do the work that they do for the accolades or the awards but it fills me and my sibling's hearts knowing that they are receiving this amazing honor.  

To attend the events it is rather expensive and they will need to get plane tickets and hotel reservations to stay in the District for five nights during the events on Capitol Hill and for the gala celebrating all of the families and organizations from around the country that are invested in the same work that they are. So many wonderful people are doing amazing work changing the foster care system and finding forever homes for our youth who just want a loving home. They would love to be able to go and be a part of this amazing experience. 

Every donation is greatly appreciated as it will help them get to Washington D.C. and give them even more of an opportunity to advocate for our children.
