Trip for Diagnosis

Please see the latest update ~ <3

It seems like forever that we've been trying to figure out what's going on with my 14 year old daughter, Annie. We have exhausted our options here, having been to several specialists including neurologists, gastroenterologists and gynocologists, as well as psychiatrists. It's hard to watch your child suffer daily. It's even more difficult to be attacked by the public school system for truancy when the only reason she ever misses a day is because the pain is too much to handle in school.

Let me tell you a little about her.

Annie is a great student. She's always been! Her grades are amazing despite having missed over 50% of school hours so far this year due to the pain she suffers. She has a good, tender heart, and loves animals. She follows the rules and isn't ashamed to do so. She wants to be an exotic pet vet and a graphic game designer some day. She also wants to open a restaurant and currently thinks Gordon Ramsay is the best thing ever.
Annie is super creative, loves to draw and has probably 30 or so notebooks filled with sketches. She likes to write occasionally; usually something comedic like a South Park fanfiction.
More than anything, she is an animal lover. She has several reptiles she calls her babies. Whenever we walk into a pet store, she approaches anyone looking at the reptiles and starts explaining everything about them. She wishes she could work there, but she'll have to wait a few years!

Why do we need this money?

Well, since our local facilities have proven fruitless, I've talked to family who have gone through similar issues. Two places were suggested to me; a place in Texas I have never previously heard of, and Children's Hospital in upstate NY. When I was a kid, I was there for a few weeks, so I know it's good people, and this is what I'm aiming for at this time.
I have no idea what the medical expenses will be yet. Right now I'm simply looking to be able to get us there and keep us there however long is necessary, and make sure we're provided for during our stay, and then can make it back home again. When researching the Texas trip, airfare and hotel was going to be somewhere around 2k, and figuring in a rental car, meals, co-pays, etc... 3500 seemed like an amount that'd make us feel safe to go on. The facility charges almost 9K for the assessment though, and I have no idea how much insurance will cover of that, which is why I considered my options.

Getting my daughter diagnosed would mean so so much to our family. It's so hard to watch her suffer and not have an answer for her. It's heartbreaking to know that the OTC and prescriptions "symptom" drugs do little to nothing to help ease her discomfort. High school was going to be this great thing for her. She was excited and wanted to do so well so she could get into a good college and work toward her many dreams, but pain is holding her back.

We would be so grateful for any help with this trip. Right now, our budget has gotten so tight that there's nothing to "put away" ourselves. We even dubbed this Christmas to be our homemade gifts Christmas, just so that we can catch up. So please believe me when I say that we definitely could use and would appreciate the help!
