Tricia's Fight for Cancer

October 6, 2017 our daughter Patricia was rushed to the Emergency Room at our local hospital. The ER doctor was stunned but knew immediately Tricia needed specialty care, one that could treat “Cancer.” She was transported to Swedish Medical Center in Seattle that evening. On October 9th Tricia received a call from her doctor with news that she has cancer. I was so proud, she didn’t breakdown and showed strength while hearing what the doctor recommended; a complete hysterectomy.

A young woman with a carefree attitude and a big heart, Tricia has voiced her opinion and concerns for women’s rights, against domestic violence, and the fight against cancer. Never did she ever think she would be facing one of these terrible issues. As her dad I am very proud of her efforts to bring human rights and the fight for cancer to the forefront of our little town.

Tricia spent time last year with her Aunt Lia before she lost her fight against cancer, and that really touched her soul.  Well Tricia has always been a hard worker, boisterous, and a fighter and if it wasn’t for the high cost of insurance she would not be worried about paying the bill.  You see the only thing she can think about is paying the hospital bill.

Tricia will have surgery to remove the cancer in the next few days, followed by radiation. If you can find it in your heart to help a beautiful young woman fight against cancer it would be appreciated, if you can only offer prayers I would be grateful.
