Tribute for U.S. Army Sgt. Hunter

Donation protected
On August 2, 2017, U.S. Army Sgt. Jonathon Michael Hunter, 23, died as the result of a suicide car bomb that attacked his convoy that was returning to base from a mission in the southern city of Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Jonathon was in the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airbourne Division and stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
He joined the Army on April 8, 2014. He also earned his Expert Infantyryman Badge last year and was recently promoted to Sergeant.

Jonathon had an infectious smile and laugh that would light up any room.  He was loyal, kind, devoted, loving, caring & most of all, our HERO!!

Freedom is NOT free and he paid the ultimate price in protecting us, and protecting our country. Those of us that had the privilege of knowing him, are better people because of HIM! And we can't express how proud of him we are!!

Please continue to pray for Jonathon's parents, wife, sisters, brother & extended family and friends.

A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated. Many of the expenses that will incur will be paid for by the military, but the likelihood is that there will be additional expenses that will need to be addressed!! There will also be a memorial service at Columbus East High School. I will be giving any money donated directly to his parents, Kimberly & Brian Thompson who reside in Columbus, Indiana.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
