Treatment for Hirsutism

I am trying to raise money to undergo intense pulse light treatment to treat my hirsutism. This is a side effect of my polycystic ovary syndrome. After treatment was denied by my local NHS authority, private treatment is my only option moving forward. The extent of my hirsutism is as follows: Excess hair on neck and chin (stubble), chest, both breasts, nipples and belly button.

At the moment I am primarily focusing on getting treatment on my neck and chin, as the stubble is now very noticeable, and is causing me significant distress. Not only do I feel anxious about the way I look, but it is causing me to feel very depressed, as it causing dysphoria.

I am reaching out to you, in order to raise money for six sessions of treatment. I have been quoted £69 from a company in my local area called “Laser Becks”.

Any contributions would be received with the upmost appreciation. It’s something I am unable to afford at the moment as it exceeds my budget for rent and utilities.
