Travel van for Rex and me

Hi! We are Rex & Leon! I grew up in Holland where I have always worked hard in a very busy and stressful life. After working in one place for almost 10 years, I started getting more and more sick, until one day I collapsed and got diagnosed with a burnout. At this point, I felt more than ever, that I needed to move to a healthier place.  So in 2017, my girlfriend our golden retreiver and I moved to the most Nothern part of Sweden. A place with -40 temperatures in the winter, lots and lots of snow, and of course, the northern lights. Here, we found a nice small house, got married. A year later another tragedy hit us, our (only 4 years young) beloved dog died suddenly of a heart attack. Something that hurt of greatly, and had set back my recovery. After a few months, we decided to adopt a super sweet German Shepherd puppy, and named him Rex. A fantastic dog that made us happy again. Life started to feel great, and I started to heal. My wife found a nice job at a spa, and I started guiding tourists around in the winter and show them the northern lights.  Unfortunately, after a few years, we found out that we wanted very different thing from life. And as friends, we decided to go our separate ways.  Now my buddy Rex and I are doing this adventure here in the North alone :) To spare expenses, we are living in a caravan for the next 7 months. So far, I have been working very hard in the winter with the tourists, and in the summer trying to survive from that. Unfortunately doing all this alone is not easy, and we would love to be able to travel around together in the future. Our plan for next spring is to drive through Europe in a camper van. This is a normal van that has all the seats in the rear replaced for a small kitchen and bed. But, unfortunately, this is not cheap. Of course, not a new van. But a used van that is still good enough to travel around with, will cost around 7000 euros. The reason why these travel would mean so much to us, is because all we want is freedom. This fund started August, 14th. We are hoping to reach our goal by March 2020. ❤ As I will be getting closer to this goal, I will share all  my updates with you guys :) Donors will also receive exclusive pictures and stories of our life here in the arctic and of the nature and northern lights. When we will be traveling with the van, we will share all our photos and adventures with you guys! Your help would mean the world to us!
