Travel Expenses for Angela Kinney

$1,239 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 32 people in 7 days
Our granddaughter Angela went in to a diabetic coma on July 9th 2018.
She was airlifted approximately 350 miles away to Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan.
We are asking for much needed donations for Angela's parents to cover the travel expenses they will be incurring over the next few weeks or months to be with their daughter, continue her care and be by her side.
Every little bit will help with gas expenses, motels, food etc.
Thank you
We will be posting updates on Angela as soon as we have them.

Currently Angela is in and out of consciousness and not able to communicate very well.
Prayers are greatly needed and appreciated also.

Thought I would share this update with everyone.
So much has happened since my last update.
Angela is making wonderful improvements and as you can see in the photo she has been released from the hospital.
She is not back home yet but is staying in the grand Rapids area at her grandpa's house until Monday where she will then be going to Devos children's hospital for more classes and training for her diabetes.
I will be going with her along with her parents.
If all goes well she will be able to come home on Monday to Dafter Michigan then return in one or two weeks for a follow up. That will be determined by her doctors.
We are ever so thankful to everyone for your prayers and donations.
Our Angela is on a road to a new life but I think she's got this one down.
Hugs to all.
I will post another update when I have more news.

Today was another good day for Angela.
This morning she learned how to check her own blood sugar and gave herself her own insulin shot. We are all so proud of her.
Her parents are working hard together to learn all they can about Type 1 Diabetes and making good decisions in Angela's diet and future.
The hospital and her doctor may allow Angela to be transferred to Devos children's hospital in Grand Rapids soon. She will need more classes and education and follow up doctor appointments regularly.
We are all so blessed with the wonderful doctors, nurses and friends and family.
Thank you to everyone.

Today we went and spent the day with angela.
She is doing so much better, as you can see in her photo.
The dietician met with all of us, mom, dad and grandparents and taught us alot about diabetes and foods. We also met with the endocrinologist and are all learning how we can help Angela stay healthy.
This has been an overwhelming experience and so much for us all to learn.
We have a long road ahead of us but it's looking better each day.
Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.
Please continue to keep Angela and her family in your prayers as we learn to live with this.
Hugs to all of you.
