Travel and Healthcare costs for Gabby

Yesterday, I was told the story of the maintenance man at my apartment complex, Luis.
Luis is from Nicaragua and his whole family is still there. A couple of weeks ago, Luis' 10-year-old granddaughter Gabby was diagnosed with Leukemia. She has been in the hospital in Nicaragua and started her chemotherapy treatments yesterday, 7/18. On top of this, Luis' father and stepmother are also both in the hospital in Nicaragua for illnesses.
Luis has been in contact with St. Jude to try to bring Gabby, her parents, and her sister to the US to receive the appropriate care and attention she needs.
Luis said one of the biggest costs is the Visa application costs to come here for four people. On top of that, flights (if not covered by St. Jude) are about $900/ round trip for each person.
Luis is a hard worker and does everything he can to take care of the people in our community and I think it would be great to try to give back to him a little. He has not asked for this but I know any help for his family would be greatly appreciated.
