Transport Van Repairs

SpayMart recently received a Mercedes cargo van from the ASPCA to transport homeless animals up the east coast as far north as Maine.  Our receiving partners there  have a shortage of animals available for adoption and are happy to place our area surplus of cats into loving forever homes.  SpayMart is working closely with municipal shelters in our area to save as many animals as possible by transporting them, and the effort helps reduce the number of animals euthanatized locally.

 

Transports are long, arduous drives  and result in serious wear and tear to any vehicle.  Recent repairs to our van totaled $7,400.  We had a generous donation of $5,000 to help with the repairs but we need an additional  $2,400.  If you would like to see this life-saving endeavor continue, please consider making a donation to SpayMart.  There are so many animals waiting for a forever home and your contribution will help them get one.
