Transport & Training Fund for Dogs in Need

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to help some great dogs that just need a little extra help! A few are pictured above.

As some of you know, NMPA/Canine Cafe's Director, Melissa Roberts, handles most of our behavior cases. With her current cancer battle it's been decided that we will be transferring our behavior cases along with some highly adoptable dogs to partners and trainers in CA. This will help reduce the daily pressure on Melissa and allow her to focus more of her time on her health. We already have some generous sponsors for the 12 dogs we are sending to CA and will only need to raise $6500 more to cover all transport and training for 3 months. It typically costs $3,000 - $6,000 per dog to transfer for this level of assistance for 3 months so we are extremely grateful for this upfront support. Now we need to come to you, our dog loving community to ask for your help to get to the finish line on the funding so these dogs can get onto transport. We won't have enough funds raised to make the January 10th transport so we are working hard to reach this goal asap thereafter.  If you prefer, you may also mail a donation to NMPA, PO Box 25661, Albuquerque, NM 87125.
