Devastating wildfires continue to burn near our operation in Chico, CA, where we have 110 team members. In nearby Paradise, a small town outside Chico where 25 percent of our people live, 95 percent of the homes and buildings were totally destroyed. This is the worst damage in the history of California fires. 14 team members who live in Paradise have lost everything—their homes and belongings burned to the ground. Others who live in other areas may have had damage occur to their homes, but they have not yet been able to go back and check the status.
Transdev has provided $11,600 already for short term needs, but we need to do more and want your help. Our colleagues who lost everything will need temporary housing, clothing and the basics of life for several months—we will be working directly with our local team to identify how the money raised can best assist them.
