Tragic Day Care Van Accident

On November 6th 2018, Martha Darlene Peterson died from injuries received in a tragic daycare van accident. Darlene has always been involved with children and has worked in the daycare industry for 15 years. Darlene was transporting children in a daycare van in Clayton, North Carolina,  when she was hit head on by a commercial truck that had crossed the center line. The children received minor injuries but Darlene gave her life to save the children.  Darlene was a single mother to an only child, Destiny. Destiny is a full time student.  Destiny has only a few family members and friends to turn to during this devastating tragedy.   The sudden loss of her mother, mentor, and best friend has turned her world upside down. All her friends and family members  are reaching out to the community asking for financial help for medical bills, memorial services, living and legal expenses. We appreciate all your support during this extremely overwhelming sudden loss of her mother.
