Tragedy Strikes Dear Friend

Tragedy happened to one of my close friends Chris Checkley, who is one of my long time employees.
On the morning of Saturday, July 13, 2019, Chris's wife of 17 years, Christina Lanthier, passed away in a fatal motor vehicle accident only minutes away from home. Christina's 17 year old son Daniel was also injured and is currently hospitalized with various injuries and will require surgery. Their cherished family dog Lucy was also lost in the accident.
Chris is a beloved employee of our company and has a huge heart. Our customers always comment on his positive attitude, friendliness, and attention to detail. As an employee of mine for over 5 years I couldn't ask for a better employee and friend. I truly value his work ethic, commitment and our friendship.
Chris and his step son Daniel are going through an extremely hard time with the loss of their wife and mom. I ask everyone that knows either Chris, Christina, Daniel or myself to donate to help this family out with future medical cost, travel, funeral and time off to grieve their significant loss.
For those who know me, this is outside my comfort zone but I do feel passionately about this great man and would appreciate the support for Chris during this extremely difficult time in his life. I would be so grateful for any contributions our families and friends can make.
