Tracy Veto's Fearless Fight

On March 13th, Tracy went in for a laparoscopic hysterectomy. Due to complications she ended up having an emergency surgery a few days later due to a perforation in her small bowel. Sadly Tracy was septic and ended up going into organ failure. She has been in the ICU since the emergency surgery on March 15th.  In the ICU she has received an additional three surgeries, continued dialysis and ongoing blood transfusions. In her future they will be doing an extensive skin graft to try and close her abdomen, get her kidneys back in line so that the dialysis can stop and move her into a regular room. At the rate of recovery to date, Tracy is looking at a continued hospital stay of another 30-60 days. 

Tracy is a fighter and is continuing to try and stay positive. She has started this journey with the support of all her friends and family that love her. She fully intends to gain a full recovery so she is able to watch Mackenzie play hockey, watch Maya learn to ice skate and grow old with her beautiful wife, Julie. We all have stories about Tracy that will make you laugh until your stomach hurts! We created this fund to help her and her family with anticipated medical bills and other expenses they may need to navigate through this time. We would also like to use this space where you can communicate with Tracy, share some fun Tracy stories and raise her spirits! Laughter is a huge of part of who the Veto's are and I would love to include that laughter as part of this journey! These stories will not only bring smiles to Tracy, but can be a place where her kids will get to know their mom and how many people she has touched.
