Traci has been battling painful kidney stones for years. Never in our wildest dreams would we think that a kidney stone would take her from our world, to be with God. Traci had a stint removed on Thursday, by Friday she was placed in the CICU for what we thought was going to be a couple of days. She had a 9mm kidney stone, and a cluster of kidney stones. One of the kidney stones that was in the cluster got infected, inflamed, and the infection spread to Traci's bloodstream, and Traci was sepetic. Friday night was a rough night, she felt extremely ill, and by 4 A.M., Saturday morning, Traci's vidals dropped, her blood pressure was extremely low, along with her heart rate. Traci was then placed on Life Support where she remained until her final time. Her acidic level was extremely low, and that is what we needed to go up, to help Traci's body fight off the sepsis. Her kidneys, and lungs ended up having a separate infection. Traci's doctors and nurses on the CICU did everything they could, and worked so hard. But Traci's kidneys were failing, her liver was failing, her lungs were filling, her heart was suffering, and her blood pressure couldn't remain stable to start dialysis, or do to many other procedures. By Saturday night Traci's chances looked grim, but we didn't give up hope, because we knew that this woman was the strongest woman we knew. She was a fighter! Her vidals remained the same throughout the night, until 6 A.M., Sunday morning,  Traci crashed, her heart rate was low, her blood pressuer was low. But, they finally got her stable. Craig sang their wedding song to Traci, and she started crying. She could hear us. Kassie called Ava and Bentley and let them talk to her, she cried again.  We knew she could hear us. We knew she was strong. She would grasp our hands, and hold them. Kassie and Jasmine remained strong throughout this whole situation. They are their mothers child, and they are two of the strongest young women there is. They asked the doctor to be blunt, and straight up, "what are her chances" the doctors can't really say that, but one doctor said "she has less than a 10% chance of not coming out of this". At this point we knew that this tragic situation turned even more tragic and our worlds came crashing down. Things were more smooth Sunday, until a little before 4 pm, the nurses wanted Pat, Craig, Kassie, and Jasmine to come into the room, which is when they told them Traci has less than an hour, and we need to say our goodbyes. A little after 4 pm, Traci was in the arms of God, and she took a piece of our hearts with her. Traci was a donor and was able to donate her corneas. No one expects to have their funeral arranged at 44. Traci deserves an amazing, beautiful goodbye celebration, and memorial. Please help Pat, Craig, Kassie, and Jasmine, as much as possible make this beautiful arrangment come true.
