Torey's Summer Tuition and Fees

This summer, I will be enrolled in two courses at Dallas Theological Seminary - Pastoral Counseling & Old Testament History II. Unfortunately, DTS does not offer financial aid for summer sessions, students only have 3 months for the payment plan instead of the usual 5 months, and 2 of those 3 payments overlap somewhat with spring and fall tuition payments. Altogether, these factors make it quite difficult to pay summer tuition in addition to our normal monthly expenses. So, I need your help!
For those of you who do not know or are not on our update list, I am currently enrolled in the Master of Theology program at DTS, emphasizing in Systematic and Historical Theology. After graduation, I hope to immediately begin doctoral studies in Systematic Theology, in order to be able to teach in Bible Colleges and Seminaries in the U.S. and abroad. I need to complete the two courses mentioned above this summer in order to stay on my current trajectory for graduation in December 2018 (4.5 years total for degree completion). Furthermore, taking summer classes eases the load that I have to take in the fall and spring semesters. Although I have a part-time job, I consider my studies at DTS my full-time job. As such, I take my studies very seriously (in fact, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA over the course of the last 2.5 years). Your financial participation with Elizabeth and I will help keep our finances balanced while allowing me to pursue my coursework at a steady pace. Would you consider contributing to this fund in order to assist us with summer tuition and fees?
The deadline to pay DTS is April, 21. At that time, whatever balance remains gets converted to a payment plan. So, the more support we raise, the less our monthly payments will be throughout the summer. Unfortunately, your contribution will not be tax-deductible. Also, if you feel uncomfortable giving through the gofundme platform, you can give directly to DTS (Student ID: 948365).
An itemized list of my summer expenses is as follows:
Tuition charges - $2,060.00
General and technology fees - $160.00
Activity fees - $140.00
Books - ~$100.00
Total - $2,460.00
