Wheels For Tonya Winchester

Tonya was in a collision with an 18-wheeler on June 16th, 2005.  After nearly 6 months in the hospital and a diagnosis of paralysis, Tonya had to learn how to move and do what she could all over again. Nearly thirteen years later, Tonya is a graduate of the University of North Texas as well as a speaker and activist for ten organizations in the Collin and Dallas counties. She lives every day with passion and yearning to make a difference. Every day and everything she does is such a blessing to our community. 

Tonya has her own accessible van but it is fourteen years old, rundown, and dependent upon a driver that she often must compensate. With opportunities increasing for Tonya, she in need of a new van and one that she can drive. We began our fundraising efforts in the beginning of the year and only have $15,000 to go!
