On Saturday August 17th, Tony went into cardiac arrest. He was given CPR and transported to the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. He has been fighting for his life in the intensive care unit.
He has suffered irreversible brain damage due to an anoxic brain injury. Our Tony is strong, but he will never be the same. We are taking his recovery day by day and keeping positive. His rehabilitation and prognosis are still unclear. We have a long road ahead as we expect to bring him to a rehabilitation facility for treatment. Doctors and specialists have recommended we prepare for a permanent stay at a facility where he can receive proper treatment for his trauma.
As his wife, our family is devastated by this tragedy. We would greatly appreciate any donation to help us through this. These expenses are costly and unforeseen to us, so anything will help.
