Tommy Time

Tommy is an artist and his shop, Boston Woodturning, has been a much-valued part of the arts community in Salem, MA.  He has supported other artists in so many ways and his dedication to his work is an inspiration.  Last summer, Tommy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastric Cancer.  He and his sweetheart, Allyse, have been fighting this thing with courage and tenacity for over 8 months.   It is taking a financial toll and we'd like to alleviate as much of this stress as we can.  We'd like the money to continue to support an extreme program of nutritional supplements, cover medical bills, and provide living expenses so Tommy and Allyse can focus on each other and on healing. Tommy's will to live is intense (most people in his situation are in hospice by this point).  Allyse told me that Tommy, "just wants to continue to give to others and to create.  Being able to create is everything he is in his body and soul."
