Tommy needs help for alternative cancer treatments

Who he is:
Tommy is a man who has overcome many adversities in his short 33 year life only to be met with the ultimate adversity, Cancer- Stage 4B Neuroendocrine Small Cell Carcinoma of the larynx (throat). This has now metastasized to his left lung, bronchial and lymph nodes and is considered inoperable as of November 6th 2018.
Goal for GoFundMe:
While the doctors attempt to figure out the next steps, we are hoping to raise some money for some alternative treatment options not covered by insurance.
His story:
Tommy has already undergone 3 rounds chemo with concurrent rounds of radiation for 6 weeks of the neck and has never complained once. During these invasive treatments, he was and is still unable to work and has decimated his finances and his savings with all the medical expenses piling up along with his day to day living costs maxing out his credit cards. He has also exhausted his disability and unemployment claims in the state of CA.
His familial help options are limited in physical and financial capacity and his friends can only do so much. He has been told that his only treatment option as of now, is indefinite chemotherapy to maintain the tumors, not cure them. Complete curative remission is no longer an option being attempted by western medicine. The only other "option" is that he foregoes (stops) treatment altogether, in which case he has been given a time frame by his oncologist of 3-6 months to live. We need to rally together all help possible to help our friend Tommy, fight as hard and as long as he can with any other treatment (potentially eastern medicine) that come our way or other uncovered western treatments that he would need to seek out independently.
Tommy has been attending the Cancer Support Community in Redondo Beach, which has been a haven for him during this difficult time. It has brought him relatable new friends who understand the battle of Cancer that he's fighting so strongly and valiantly. The Cancer Support Community has and does all they can to help direct him to resources which are still limited in scope and capacity but we are at the point of hoping for the kindness of strangers helping him through this battle which is ever so daunting.
Any donation of any amount is greatly appreciated and Tommy truly thanks you from the bottom of his heart! We hope to update everyone with great news throughout his fight in the upcoming weeks and months and hoping to win the war called Cancer.
