A few years ago, my friends and I started playing croquet. One thing lead to another, and I am now a tournament player, utterly fascinated and captivated by the history and potential of this forgotten pastime.
As often as we try to explain this unique subculture to other people, we decided that it was time to finally tell the story as a whole, visiting many regional hotspots of the croquet community, interviewing the players, hearing their stories, capturing their events and chronicling their past. Basically, we want to take viewers along on the same journey we have been through over the past several years.
We are seeking your participation in interviews, facility showcases, and event shoots, as well as your financial support. This would mainly cover the cost of some equipment upgrades, as well as our travel expenses over the summer of 2017. We want this to be a fully inclusive experience, and to travel to every region. Please contribute what you can, and do not be shy about volunteering your tournaments for coverage. If you can't donate money, but can donate lodging at an event, or even just over a weekend of play, we will make every effort to come out.
